Picatinny Arsenal Ten Miler Team gives competition a run for their money
Picatinny Arsenal sent 29 runners to the AUSA (Association of the United States Army) Ten Miler race held on Oct. 8 in Washington D.C., starting and finishing at the Pentagon. It is the second largest 10 mile race in the United States. The Picatinny representatives were a mix of military, civilian, contractor, and military family members.
Four teams were entered in two separate categories, with the top team placing second in the “Government Agency” category with a cumulative time of 4:21:50, only 1:31 behind Redstone Arsenal. There were a total of 35,000 entrants, and 25,788 official finishers.
