Picatinny employees pledge $175K to worthy causes during annual fund drive  PICATINNY, N.J. -- Workers here have pledged $175,000 to local and national non-profit organizations, the base’s combined federal campaign chairperson announced today. According to Louis J. Sylvain, Combined Federal Campaign Chairman, “we have exceeded our goal of $150,000 by over 10 percent.” The combined federal campaign is a yearly fund-raising drive that federal agencies conduct in workplaces each fall. The proceeds go to hundreds of non-profit agencies and organizations that help those in need. Between 1997 and 2003, base employees have raised more than $1 million dollars for various agencies and organizations that participate in the campaitn.
