ARDEC
The Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center is the
Army's "Center of Lethality," a designation that reflects its importance as
a provider of more than 90 percent of the Army's lethality to soldiers.
ARDEC's overall missions are: to improve already fielded items, develop new
items, maintain a strong armament technology base in government, industry
and academia and provide technical support to soldiers in the field.

PEO AMMO
The Program Executive Office for Ammunition manages the
life cycle acquisition process for ammunition for the Army and other U. S.
military services as well as the Department of Defense's Ammunition
Industrial Base.

PEO GCS
The Program Executive Officer for Ground Combat Support manages
the development, acquisition, testing, systems integration, product
improvement and fielding of ground combat support weapons systems used by
the Army and other U.S. military services.

PEO SOLDIER
The Program Executive Office for Soldier develops, acquires,
procures, fields and sustains safe, reliable, effective, state-of-the-art,
cost-effective and sustainable Soldier Systems. PEO Soldier will be the
premier center of excellence for transforming our Soldiers' capability to
continuously dominate the battlespace across the full spectrum of peace and
war.
