Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR)

The Morale, Welfare & Recreation provides Army well being and quality of life programs for the Picatinny Arsenal Community to include active duty military, retirees, civilian employees, reservists and all their family members.

The programs/events encompass the following areas located at Picatinny: recreation, fitness, family support, golf, and food, beverage and entertainment.

Golf Course The Picatinny Arsenal Golf Club consists of 18 holes, a practice putting green, a practice fairway and a golf shop.
Frog Fall Frog Falls Aquatic Park boasts 6 lap lanes in our large heated leisure pool and 2 high velocity slides for people 48 inches or taller, a lazy river and a spacious kiddie pool, Tadpole Cove.
Lake Denmark The Lake Denmark Recreation Area is located on Lake Denmark Road. The popular picnic grounds include grill areas and outdoor game courts with breathtaking views of Lake Denmark.
Fitness Center The Total Fitness Center located onsite has Cardio Vascular Equipment, Weight Training Equipment and additional amenities such as locker rooms with showers, Cardio Theater, Basketball and Racquetball Court, Outdoor Tennis Courts and Aerobic Studio
