Armed Forces Day participation a success.

Plan
on attending and having a great time. |

Plan
extra time to allow for the fact that this year’s event is open
to the public. |

Wear
shirts and shoes. |
| |
If you
live on post in the Navy Hill area, plan on using shuttle buses because
the Navy Hill parking areas will be filled by off-post cars. |

|
Bring
prohibited items, which include coolers, personal food and drinks,
noise makers, pets, backpacks or large bags - they will not be permitted
on post during Armed Forces Day. |

Wear
clothing with obscene or offensive logos and/or designs. |

| To
help prevent heat-related emergencies |
|
|
|
Drink
plenty of fluids, especially water, while cutting back on alcoholic
and caffeinated beverages. |
|
Dress
according to weather conditions. |
|
Avoid
over exertion. |
|
Pay
special attention to the elderly, very young children and those taking
medications. |
|
In the
event of an emergency, contact an Armed Forced Day staff member or
go to the information booth for assistance. |
