Picatinny Rod & Gun
Association
You do not have to be a member of the PR&GA to hunt
or fish at Picatinny Arsenal, but it is the only organization on post
with volunteers that help young and old to get started and/or learn new
rod and gun skills. Most of the membership fees are used to purchase trout,
bass, pike, walleye, and catfish to stock in the Picatinny bodies of
water and pheasants for the hunting program for everybody's
enjoyment. Other programs funded
with membership funds are National Hunting and Fishing Day for kids,
fishing tournaments, game dinners, pig roast, archery, and new this year
BOW (Become an Outdoors Woman).
