PM CCS employees donate to Soldiers deployed in Afghanistan
PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. -- Nancy Ardis-Wolfe, far left, is an employee of Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS), which is based at Picatinny Arsenal. Ardis-Wolfe is currently deployed as a Train, Advise and Assist (TAAC) South Action Officer at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. On Oct. 17, she delivered hygiene, sundry products and snacks to Fort Drum Soldiers deployed in Afghanistan. TAAC South includes the provinces of Kandahar, Uruzgan, Zabul and Daykundi.
PM CCS employees donated items after learning that the Kandahar PX was closing and toiletries like mouthwash, toothpaste and food were beginning to run low. In addition, Operation Jersey Cares provided eight boxes of items. Since mid-September, Ardis-Wolfe has delivered more than 150 care bags to deployed troops due to the generosity of her family, PM CCS employees and Operation Jersey Cares.
