Eagle 'lands' at Picatinny visitor center
Leaders at Picatinny Arsenal formally unveiled on Aug. 9 a new, hand-crafted carving of an eagle at the installation’s visitor control center. Artists Kenny Scoggins and his wife, Kacie, carved the Liriodendron Tulipifera (Tulip Poplar) tree in honor U.S. service members. The carving stands about 14 feet tall and took three and a half days to complete.
