Who We Are
The Networked Munitions/Demolitions Division of PM CCS manages two highly visible, mission-critical product lines: networked munitions and demolitions.
Networked munitions are delivered by multiple means in the full spectrum of operations to provide unattended area denial and immediate engagement effects, brining us ever closer to the brilliant minefield concept as part of an overall "Intelligent Battlefield." Technologies developed by PM CCS, working in concert with scientists and engineers from the Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) and private industry partners, are formidable.
Demolitions are used to meet numerous battlefield needs, from clearing landmines and breaching obstacles to assisting Soldiers in battle situations. Many programs are being pursued that will provide significant improvement in demolition capability. Explosive warhead and fuzing work now underway provides the framework for user-friendly, lightweight, multistage munitions with precision destructive capabilities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to develop and field networked munitions and smaller, lighter, more capable demolition
systems that will provide our Soldiers with the capability to deny terrain, prevent enemy
movement and destroy enemy weapons caches more safely and efficiently.
