Demolitions
Demolitions provide a rapid means to clear and reduce impediments
to the free movement and maneuver of friendly forces and to
impede enemy movements. Then contribute to the success of numerous
and varied missions on the modern battlefield and are used
by combat engineers and special operation s Soldiers to clear
mines, breach doors and overcome obstacles. Current modernization
efforts will make Demolitions lighter, smaller, more reliable
and less sensitive. Strong progress is also being made
to reduce the logistic burden and make the employment more
user-friendly.
Countermine Munitions
Countermine munitions are systems designed to neutralize mines
and either consume the explosive fill or cause a detonation
of the mine.
