Counter-IED Training at NTC - Getting It Right From Day One
Before going into the "box" at Fort Irwin, Soldiers spend a week at the National
Training Center (NTC) preparing for their mission in a reception, staging, onward
movement and integration (RSOI) period. During RSOI, Soldiers attend classroom
and hands-on training on counter-IED equipment provided by the Army Center of
Excellence (ACOE), including PM CCS' own Self-Protection Adaptive Roller Kit
(SPARK) and non-lethal capabilities.
