Monument should be erected

Dear Editor,

After reading the “Looking Back at Picatinny” column, I found it so sad that there is no memorial/monument for those unfortunate people who died. Can't something be done now? I'm sure there are many more people like myself who would be more than happy to make a contribution for something -- a tree, a plaque, anything that would remember them, even at this late date.
